There are times when I have negative talks with people who are not here. Yes I am alone and many times it happens only in my mind but it does happen and I bet this happens for you at times also- Why?
Because the mind can easily have a life of its own.
All things are lawful but not everything is profitable and the unprofitable can and will rule your mind if you are not careful. This is the main reason why meditation is such a big part of my life.
The mind of a Lover can be seen plainly in the Ultimate Lover- Jesus Christ! I don’t think He was looking forward to the cross when He was sweating drops of blood in the garden. Please correct me if I am wrong but my guess is He didn’t enjoy His crucifixion.
How did He do it then? Was there some law He focused on? Was there some magical spell He was under from God?
Christ was able to be beaten and whipped and brutally killed because He kept His mind on something true and noble and pure and lovely and right and admirable.
What was that which He was thinking of?
You after being made true and noble and pure and lovely and right and admirable.
That’s what the mind of a Lover focuses on- Not on what is but on how Love will change even the darkest soul.
