What Law that requires Faith?

Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.” – Romans 3:27-28

The law that requires Faith is simply this – Have Faith in Christ and you are Holy as He is Holy, justified before God Almighty and engrafted or Reconciled (past tense) to Him forever more!

The law causes boasting – lots of boasting and ego! Unless – unless it is the only law that really matters after the cross – Believe in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved!

The “law that requires Faith” is simple – Accept Jesus and accept what He did for you and you will never be under the burden of the law again! Jesus paid it ALL there is no more struggle – Peace has come in a HUGE way!

This passage clearly spells it out that the cross of Christ and belief in Him alone makes us:

1)    Justified! Seen as completely made Just and Right – in Right standing before God Almighty!

2)   Reconciled! Made part of God again – not since sin entered the world with Adam and Eve had this been possible!

3)   Not under works of the law! No longer would we have to work and sacrifice to please God – just have Faith in what was already done!
