The blind, the religious and Jesus!

Why can’t a person be healed 7 days a week?

Please read John 9:13-15

Vs. 13 “They brought to the Pharisees the man who had been blind. Now the day on which Jesus had made the mud and opened the man’s eyes was a Sabbath. Therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. “He put mud on my eyes,” the man replied, “and I washed, and now I see.”

Jesus didn’t come to change the law! If anything He added to it- so why did He break it?

He healed a person on the Sabbath and like it or not it was clearly against the law Exodus 31:15. So was Jesus an exception to the rule or did Jesus usher in a whole new way to relate to God?

To the religious person there is only a cold hard stone that tells the exactness of the situation. To the spiritual person there is a person, a soul made in the image of God Almighty that I want to Love and share light with and have them share their light with me as well.

The difference between the Pharisees and Jesus could be summed up like this: one was religious and the other was spiritual- I leave it up to you to figure out which.

To the blind man nothing mattered but the Love and the healing that could only come from one place- Jesus!

To Jesus nothing matters except you!

To Jesus nothing matters except sharing Love! He didn’t come into the world to condemn it but to save it- but how easily that is forgotten in the rush to fill some religious requirement.

Jesus came to say one simple thing- The covenant of God’s Grace is here and you can be Free!!

How do you spot a religious person instead of a Lover like Jesus?

Simple, they are more concerned with appearances, a list of rules and conversion of others than they are the people and pain around them!

Don’t worry- Be Grace-Full!!
