Because churches are man made organizations governed by people who have very limited ideas of Who GOD Is, What GOD wants and How GOD operates. In addition keep this in mind, just like in the times of Christ, once an organization is formed its very hard and in fact humanly impossible to keep the organization from becoming More about self proliferation than self examination.
