This is a line from a movie I was watching while I was sweating out
Dinghe fever in a Bangkok hotel. Don’t even know the name of the
movie but this thought was so wonderful I thought I would share it
with you.
When I think of dancing I think of a child. As a child I could dance
and I could sing and even if it was terrible it was ok. As I grew I
was told “oh it’s wrong to dance” and “oh you can’t sing.” This for me
is one of the amazing things about Grace and Love it accepts all
things. I think one of the things that God does for us when He comes
into our hearts and lives, is He makes us like children again.
“People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
Vs. 25 “Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” – Luke 18:15-17, 25
As a child nothing else matters except here and now and loving life and the moment. As a child I am full of wonder and ready to try things and I see things for the first time. As a child I can accept Love and sit at the feet of Jesus and laugh and play and be safe.
The trouble is we grow up and get bitter and set in our ways and we
remember bad things that were done to us. To help overcome the bad
done to us we tell ourselves “if I get alot of money then the pain will go away” or “if I become powerful then everyone will respect me and I will feel good.”
But the problem that Christ saw with this is simple it doesnt work. It doesnt matter what you try to fill the void with it doesnt work the only thing that does heal the pain is Love! Perfect Love from above! The kind that you can only get from Jesus. God is Love and nothing else will help you and I to dance.
Lets dance everybody!
Dont worry Be GRACE-FULL!
