Where is the trust?

Is it possible that our trust is causing us pain?

Is there a healthy trust?

Isaiah 12:1-3

Are there things you can trust in that will cause more pain in your life?

Is there anything trust that causes less pain?

I have learned from my experience that as long as I trust in my own “doing” my pain will increase. This is the message of Grace and the beauty of the good news- Christ set us free and through day to day situations we can choose to trust which builds faith!

Vs. 1 In that day you will say: I will praise You, Lord. Although You were angry with me, Your anger has turned away and You have comforted me.

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord is my strength and my defense, He has become my salvation.

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.”

Is there a plan here?

Yes I think so and it has worked for me:

1)    Be thankful for the pain. God allowed it into your life. All pain has a purpose and that purpose is education. Learn and the pain will “grow away.”

2)   God is not angry with you! GOD LOVES YOU and wants to comfort you and show you His amazing Grace! Trust that He wants you right where you are and in time He will show you why.

3)   If you get anxious and get off track and start to feel the pain again- go back to step 1 and realize that God knew you would get off track and go back to the pain and guess what GOD LOVES YOU and is still right here to comfort you. Take some time to breath in and out and say “God is my salvation, I will not be afraid.”

4)   Accept the joy and find the joy in His deliverance. Once you grow through this the next issue is far less threatening as you have seen and live the trust you had from the last pain.

There are many things in which to trust

But only one which will not rust!
