Are you fruity enough?

Is it possible that being “in Christ” will result in amazing Love opportunities?

Could it be that the “fruit” of being “in Christ” is Love?

Have you ever met a bitter person and thought they looked just like a dying tree? Perhaps their attitude seemed to smell of death?

I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” – John 15:1-4

If “bearing fruit” is just a list of commandments then why did Jesus have to come to earth?

Didn’t we already have the commandments?

What if “bearing fruit” means “LOVING” like He loved?

You know the great thing about God is He will radically teach us things and allow us to see things if we have the eyes for it. Each and every moment of your life has been planned out and prepared in advance so that you can become more Loving and you can become more giving. Check out Vs. 2:

He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes.”

Last time I was pruned was just a few moments ago and there are times when I look up and think, “God what is it you want?” To which I always get the same answer, “You, just you loving me and others.”

How do we know that someone is “in Christ?”

Simple they are Lovers! They are the people everyone goes to when they need Love and compassion and they are the ones who still look at something like they are seeing it for the first time. They are the lest judgmental and the most accepting people who make it a point to let you know that you are very special.

Here is a meditation for you. Find a time and a place where you wont be disturbed but if you are God planned it that way so relax and learn from the moment. Take a couple of deep cleansing breaths and close your eyes and picture Jesus with the dirtiest and worst people you can imagine and He is laughing and hugging and holding them with His nail scared hands. As you get that picture and realize that He died for them say this:

Breathe in and say:

Remain in

Breathe out and say:

His Love

It’s a Great day to be fruit-full!
