Are you defeated?
What is it that holds you back from life and loving?
Could it be that you are already defeated because of something that could be changed by changing what you believe?
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.” – Romans 8:31-34
Sooner or later in life we have to make some tough choices. Delay causes pain and compounds the difficulty of the choice.
The path and the Love from Above has been laid out in this passage but even accepting Christ and accepting grace doesnt mean all your pain will be taken away in the instant you accept Him. Why?
I believe its because we have to open our minds and realize some growth points and grow through much of the pain. Perhaps we need to look at some root causes of pain and that is the reason why God allows the pain to continue.
Let me ask you this question is it more loving for a father to give all the answers or for a father to provide tools to find the answers and in so doing teach the tool so that the learner can have that tool and show it to another traveler?
Is it better to have an instant solution or to understand the problem and in so doing be able to help others?
Ask yourself this question in your emotional pain and distress- “What do I need to learn from this pain to be more loving and help another?” Perhaps you will learn self forgiveness or meditation. Perhaps you will learn to forgive others and in so doing ease your cling to the past. Perhaps you will learn that clinging the past or grasping the future cause’s pain either way because God lives here and now.
Your power to conquer is based on love and that starts within so does today’s meditation:
Find a quiet spot where you wont be disturbed and close your eyes. After a couple of cleansing deep breaths get a picture in your mind of Christ rising from the grave and have him sit down next to you and hold your hand as He does:
Breath in and say:
“God justifies me”
Breath out and say:
“No one condemns me ”
Practice this while you grasp the concept that His perfect gift made you perfect!
Dont worry Be Grace-Full!
