What makes you conscious?

Where does consciousness lead?

Vs. 19 “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.” – Romans 3: 19-20

There is only one path to righteousness and it’s NOT through the law!

Our doing couldn’t do it then and it never will be able to amount to a hill of beans. This is the Good News of Christ and this is the path to see the need explained in these two verses.

The law shows us that we will never be righteous, it makes us conscious. It causes fear of the Lord and it causes us to seek peace. The key is to seek peace with God and not seek a temporary pain reliever. I know as I sought several different ones for many years.

But here is the beauty of consciousness- “God Is Love

Once you see that and grasp that- you are no longer under the law! Until you do though the fear will drive you to some sort of pain reliever. Even if that pain reliever is your own wisdom and you think you don’t need God- its only temporary.

If you can, find a time and a place where you probably won’t be disturbed and take several deep breaths. With each exhale release the stress of guilt and shame. Relax as best you can without trying and making a big effort to relax. Then as you begin to breathe normally again just see if you can feel your breath and Be, Here, Now. As you do:

Breathe in and say:

God make me conscious

Breathe out and say:

Of Your Love for me

Practice this meditation until your realize the purpose of Christ and His gift to you.

Don’t Worry- Be Grace-Full!!
