The Calling of The Lover

The Divine Lover calls to us in our place of fear – “come to my arms of Love beyond human comprehension”

The Divine Lover calls to us in our place of shame – “come to my embrace of Acceptance just as you are”

The Divine Lover calls to us in our place of pain – “come to my healing hug that erases the source of all hurt”

The Divine Lover calls to us in our place of insecurity – “come to my secure sanctuary of unconditional Love and find rest”

The Divine Lover calls to us in our place of separateness – “come to my kingdom that is within each soul I created and I will unite you in the community of Love beyond human comprehension”

“Mighty King, lover of justice,
    you have established fairness.
You have acted with justice
and righteousness throughout Israel.” … Psalm 99:4

The Way is … From Love

People come into our lives and people leave our lives to move us toward greater love-ability and Love reliance.

Events happen in our lives and we win and lose to move us toward greater love-ability and Love reliance.

This is not always an easy lesson but I have found it to be a great comfort and something that brings me back to the purpose for my life. Keep in mind that this is true for the “good” and the “bad” – in other words the people that we think are “good”, the events we think are “good” and the people and events we think are “bad” are All allowed in our lives at the exact time that they are to move us toward greater love-ability and Love reliance.

With this in mind here are some potential questions that might open up Loves path a little bit more:

1) How does this person or event make me feel?

2) How does that create greater love from me?

3) What does that cause me to fear?

4) How can that fear create a greater sense of Rest in The Divine Lover?

5) In recognizing that fear does it open up a pain spot in my soul that needs recognition and healing?

Remember The Divine Lover is The One that is constantly desiring the life of The Beloved for us – and to have that life is to Rest fearlessly in the Faith of being Loved beyond human comprehension.

“Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.” … Psalm 116:2

Religious myths – 1

When I was younger I was Very well religiously educated and therefore spiritually, emotionally and in every other way imaginable in pain. In fact I was struggling for my very existence! Yes literally!

God allowed me to go so low that ALL I could do is reach up to Him through suicidal drug induced pain. What caused this pain?

Religious myths!

So please join me on a journey, an adventure into exposing these myths and see what I discovered in The Life I now Live!

“In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.” – Hebrews 2:10

Jesus was “made” “perfect” through Faith – Faith that His suffering would create our wHOLeY-ness! He suffered for you and me so that All we need to do is BElieve! Accept this and Life is Amazingly simple and easy – as in “easy burden and light yoke” that Jesus offered the most legalistic people on the planet!

“Love one another as I have Loved you”

And if you are anything like me you will suck at Loving – just like me – God is growing His Love in me – Not the law of Moses in me!

What kills love?

It isn’t the gay or the straight that kills love – it’s us.

It isn’t the black or the white that kills love – it’s us.

It isn’t the Democrat or the Republican that kills love – it’s us.

It was, is and always will be us that puts love on the cross and every time we fail to see that exterior looks and opinions are Not what matters, every time we fail to see the soul that Is All that matters – That’s when we kill love.

When we consider the accusations leveled at eternities Greatest Lover in human form we can begin to see if we are on the right track.

So let’s look at those accusations:

  1. “He is a friend to sinners” – As we consider the lives of most people one topic that comes up is their known associations or friends. So why would The Divine choose “sinners” as friends? Could it have anything to do with sharing Love and shunning shame?

  2. “He is out of His mind?” – You know it might be a bad day when your own mother accuses you of being insane. Could this accusation have anything to do with the reckless way The Divine Loved? Could it be that Mary was simply trying to protect her Son from a growing group of professional legalist that didn’t like the way Jesus was connecting people to God?

  3. “He is a drunkard and a glutton?” – On this accusation keep in mind that in the Jewish tradition an accusation had to have some proof or the accuser could be in some deep trouble. Could this accusation have come from the idea talked about in Romans 10:4 and various other places? Is it possible that this accusation came from The Divines plan that the only thing that matters is that we “Love one another.”

Love vs. fear

I believe the opposite of love is fear and I will choose to stand against fear in every moment I live.

So let’s examine the differences a bit:

  1. Love whispers “come to me and rest” but fear screams “do more and never rest”

  2. Love whispers “I Am with you Always” but fear screams “if you don’t perform I will turn my back on you”

  3. Love whispers “Let the children come to me” but fear screams “grow up and act right or be punished”

  4. Love whispers “Lay your burdens down in prayer” but fear screams “shut up and deal with it”

  5. Love whispers “You are free indeed” but fear screams “you should be ashamed of yourself”

  6. Love whispers “It is finished” but fear screams “you have to be better and do more”

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” … Matthew 11:28

Making Love a Priority

Getting to our true purpose opens up our soul to happiness and contentment.

Our truest purpose is to love without conditions or repayment plans. When we do this we create a Divine opening for others to rest here and now. This doesn’t have to be difficult or complicated – here are some simple ways to Make Love a Priority this week:

  1. Smile and say hello to complete strangers.

  2. Be Thankful for even the smallest thing.

  3. Look someone in the eyes and say something positive like “I hope you have a Wonderful day.”

  4. See someone struggling and offer to help them.

  5. Send a text message to wish someone a fantastic week.

  6. Volunteer at the local food bank or some place that needs a warm smile and an encouraging word.

  7. Share food with someone.

Don’t be discouraged by the ones who are suspicious or doubtful of your intentions at first. Create new ways to show people compassion, hope and love and when you do you will find that these same qualities come back to you.

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38

Teaching Love

As The Divine walked the earth we learned Love beyond human comprehension and this Love was, is and always will be “the Good News.” So what does “the Good News” look like:

  1. Equality – No one was “so bad” or “too high” that they were exempt or excluded from Love beyond human comprehension.

  2. Forgiveness – All were forgiven even those who didn’t ask for it but realized their need for Love beyond human comprehension.

  3. Openness – There was a freedom to be who you were, a transparency of “shamefulness” that was freely given with Love beyond human comprehension.

  4. Relabeling – A sense of all-ness was explained as every single soul was seen as valued to The Divine Who Is Love beyond human comprehension.

If we want to be about the work of The Divine Who Is Love beyond human comprehension – let us Be about The Good News and build bridges today and every day of Love beyond human comprehension.

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.” Matthew 10:29

What would happen if we focused on letting Love Be our Legacy?

Would we still see skin color as a barrier or would we bridge the divide?

Would we still look at people differently because of who they loved and their sexual identity or would we bridge the divide?

Would we still sit in our comfort zone or would we bridge the divide?

Would we still stay separated and isolated or would we bridge the divide?

Would we distance ourselves from differences or would we bridge the divide?

Would we focus on reasons why something won’t work or would we bridge the divide?

In the end we determine our legacy and our legacy can help heal or deepen hurt.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10

LOVES Passing

What needs to concern us All the most about the current condition of the world is that we are so unable to just “Love one another!” Without a serious shift in thinking towards Unconditional Love for each other, I see little if any hope for the future of mankind.

“When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” He called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” – Luke 18:36-38

LOVE was passing by and this blind beggar knew he needed it!

LOVE was passing by and this blind beggar did the only thing he could to get to it!

LOVE was passing by and this blind beggar knew he had nothing to offer, no deal to strike and nothing to bargain with but he desperatly needed it!

Sin left me as a blind beggar! – “the power of sin is the law.” 1 Corinthians 15:56

The law blessed me by being the tool God used to create the dire need I had to experience The Only thing that could heal me – His Unconditional Love! – “The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more” Romans 5:20

You see God in His Amazing wisdom created Everything I needed to find the Only thing I couldn’t Live without because His Love for me is so Great that He wants more than a pitiful existence – He wants a Grace based Life where I can see myself and everyone else through His eyes of LOVE!
