What creates more worry?

What kills a spiritual journey?

“And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.” – Luke 12:29-31

Worry is driven by being in the future and feeling a need to be like someone else- basically the craving for more! More money, more food, more looks, more better position and yes even more legal and seen as a better person.

So what is wrong with wanting to be better or more proper or have a better position?

Three words come to mind and I believe it’s stated here- GOD IS LOVE!

As such to seek His kingdom first is to seek Love first!

This is Grace in the raw, wide open and real! This is the Good news and its actually Great News- You don’t have to work for this Love! You don’t have to earn this Love! And oh by the way- This Love is never ending- How do you end worry?

By beginning to understand this gift of Grace and seeing the reality of who you are in Christ!

Here is a meditation for you to get the target of healing instead of the target that kills a spiritual journey. Take some time and find a place where you probably won’t be disturbed but if you are take it as a Loveable Moment (an opportunity to share Love)! Take several deep breaths and as best you can without straining try to recognize tension and relax those spots. Once you relax as best you can get back to breathing normally and focus on these words:

Breath in and say:

God let me focus

Breathe out and say:

On Your Love

Practice this meditation for a while and see if many “things” and “doings” somehow stop being so important. Love like there is no tomorrow and Forgive like there was no yesterday!

Don’t worry-Be Grace-Full!!

Where does God reside? Only Love last!

  1. Why Jesus Christ worried before His Cross.

Great question! I believe it was allowed by God the Father to teach us a very important lesson – Acceptance of what is!
Once He realized that The Father knew exactly what needed to be done and that His Heavenly Father would walk with Him through this difficult process He was able to relax even with what He surely knew would be the most difficult upcoming pain.
The lesson here – know Who God is, Know How much He Loves you and understand that All things are in His control and done for and through Love!
