I have never seen roots of shame and condemnation produce a tree of Love and Healing.
One of the biggest differences between religion and Grace is the tree and that is because of the roots. When the roots of the tree are “the power of sin” (1 Corinthians 15:56) the tree itself is doomed to an existence of failure, pain and destitution of the soul.
“No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.” – Luke 6:43-44
The verse above was said by Jesus right after He said, “Do not judge!” Jesus had just stated that we need to Stop looking at the speck in our brothers eye because we have a plank in our own as we discussed in “LOVES forest” so what does all this mean?
What Is a “Good tree” and why is it vital to Grace?
Jesus didn’t come to condemn, He came to save! Jesus didn’t come to point out the sin, He came to set the captive Free! Jesus didn’t come to create more sickness of shame, He came to heal the sick!
In short Jesus came to bring a new agreement between man and God that is an easy burden and a light yoke because the law ends where Christ begins for ALL who believe!
