The very people who followed the law the closest are the very ones Jesus told to “repent” – and yet today most think that following Jesus is about following the law better. Ever wonder why that is? Ever think that maybe the goal of religion is Not the same as the goal of Jesus?

A certain ruler asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” – Luke 18:18

If your goal is life after death there is a very good possibility that you will miss life Here and Now!

When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” – Luke 18:22

There will always be something “lacking” in the life of one that follows religion instead of Relationship and allows law to dictate Love!

The Peace of Christ was never about the law of Moses and as long as a being thinks that is the case, the struggle will continue for life to have meaning. God Is Love and for our life to have meaning we need to be about Love as that focus is on God but the laws focus is on self and ego.

Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!” – Luke 18:24

There is great comfort in riches, be it riches of money, power or religiousity through following the law, But there is Life Only in accepting that “the kingdom of God is within you” and Christ Alone provides that because He “Finished” all that was needed for us to find it!

Those who heard this asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” – Luke 18:26-27

The “impossible” was made possible because God Loves You so much that ALL you ever needed or will ever need was provided on the cross!
